Please Pass It On

When you do a RAoK, you are likely to initially receive a confused look from the recipient. To help you easily explain, you can print the card below and give it to your RAoK recipients. By doing this, you can be anonymous in your RAoK, if you desire; and you can facilitate the spreading of Lauren's RAoK.

A picture of Lauren with an explanation about the RAoK. This picture can be printed out and given to the recipients of your RAoK in Lauren's honor.
Print this out to give to the recipients of your RAoK in Lauren's honor.

  1. My students wrote letters of thanks to people who had blessed them in some way. This morning, I bought the breakfast of the vehicle behind me who unbeknownst to me was the parent of a RHS Senior.

I was never fortunate enough to meet Lauren, but I am proud to participate in honoring her memory and celebrating her birthday in this way!

  3. We made double doozies and packaged them individually for the kids to hand out at school. Kallie took 2 dozen donuts to her first period class at school. I took individual donut packages to 3 people at the school that have been very helpful to us throughout the years. Then I went through the drive through to pick up a drink to take to my very dear friend. While at Sonic, I paid for the person in line behind me. I went to drop off the drink to my friend who works in a local Dr.'s office...I brought donuts for the office staff as well. After all that, I was hungry for some breakfast so I went through the drive-thru at Chick-fil-a and while there, I paid for the person behind me.

I heard from my sweet friend Shannon W. that they participated by baking brownies to hand out during lunch at school...Lauren would be happy about the brownies!

Lastly, Kallie received a very fun RAoK basket on our doorstep this morning! It was exciting to see all the things tucked inside and that someone had thought it out well...actually this is the third year that Kallie has received a basket on the porch and all three years the theme has been orange...Kallie's favorite!

  4. We gave fresh veggies from our garden to friends today and this morning I donated some money to an older gentleman's purchase at the convenience store when he realized he didn't have enough money with him.

  5. I celebrate you Lauren!

In your honor this year a person received a gallon of gas, another received a Steak n Shake meal in the drive-thru, and another received a special prayer for their own personal intentions.

The first year, students at Harriet Tubman Elementary School, Dolton, Illinois, painted a Garden Stone and placed it in a newly created butterfly garden under their Flag, in your honor. The following year they spruced the garden up with more flowers. Sorry to say the school closed... Happy to say that the Garden Stone moved in with family in a special garden in Burbank, Illinois.

    Bless the Landmark Family.
